Whatever the size of your business, it makes sense to look after your biggest asset - your employees. A fit and healthy workforce is key to an organisation's performance, and each year millions of working days are lost to stress-related illnesses.
70% of HR professionals feel that stress is a problem in their organisation (HSE, 2007). By introducing reflexology into the workplace, it gives staff an opportunity to experience a holistic therapy which may reduce stress, boost effectiveness and improve general wellbeing.
Effects of stress in the workplace
How can reflexology work for your company?
Treatments are carried out in-house and the practitioner brings a special chair for the client to sit in. Treatments can take between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on the time-scale available.
Each company chooses its own level of involvement. In some businesses, each employee is fully responsible for the cost of their own treatments. Other companies chose to subsidise the treatments for their staff. Whatever works for your company.
The reflexologist requires a small, private room to practice from in-house, and a method of promoting the service internally.
If your business is interested in providing a reflexology service for its staff, I will be happy to offer a free consultation to discuss your organisation's needs.
I have an ABC Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology and am fully insured against Public Liability and Malpractice claims. I am also a member of the Association of Reflexologists and abide by their code of conduct, offering a totally confidential service.
